Their Story

Ashley and Garvin are another High School Sweetheart success story. After they started dating their senior year of high school, they stayed together for 9 years before officially tying the knot. They knew they weren’t a traditional or sappy type of couple so they loved the idea of a Cactus Collective wedding. Ashley says their favorite part of the day was walking up to the ceremony site and taking in the beautiful view with each other. They waited to see each other until the ceremony so they walked into the gorgeous space hand in hand which made for a very special moment.

The couple did bring a bit of their hometown of Hickory, North Carolina with them in the form of Ashley’s gorgeous dress. They chose a burgundy, black and green color palette for the wedding which boldly stood out against her glamorous gown. Though the couple’s day got a rocky start due to a not-so-great limo company, they were saved by Earth Limos who turned it all around for them and knew just what to say to put their focus back on just enjoying their day with each other. Ashley’s advice to other couples getting married is to definitely check back with vendors several times leading up to the big day but then once you get there, no matter what’s happened, just let go and enjoy it! We’re so glad this couple had a happy ending and wish them a lifetime of great memories.
