One of our recent REAL WEDDINGS 🙂 Enjoy what Carrie and Mark had to say about their experience! This adorable couple was sweating it when they first met each other and not just from nerves! After meeting in the gym, it took Mark several months to work up the gusto to ask Carrie out for coffee and they experience 3 years of total bliss after that fateful day. Mark’s proposal was definitely one for the books as he proposed to Carrie on her 30th birthday at the launch of the Queensferry Crossing which is now the world’s longest three-tower, cable-stayed bridge! The proposal was so noteworthy that is was written upon the Courtier UK’s website. Carrie’s sister owns a bridal shop so picking out the perfect dress was no sweat. While on a shipping trip in NY the girls fell in love with the designer Chosen and Carrie wound up picking out a design named the “Nala” which after a few alterations like turning the underdress into a body suit, became the dress of her dreams. Her sister then designed white Van’s trainers and a denim jacket to polish off the look. The two wed in Red Rock Canyon amongst the beauty of nature and Mark says his favorite part of the day was the moment he turned around and saw Carrie for the first time in her dress, taking his breath away. He says Carrie was the “perfect girl in the perfect dress in the perfect setting.” We’ll wait while you wipe away your tears. Carrie says her favorite part of the day was walking up to Mark and having him take her hands feeling both calmed and excited by the fact that they would be holding hands forever. After their nuptials, the couple hopped into a limo courtesy of Earth Limos and headed over to the Stratosphere for some delicious eats and dancing. For a lot of couples, this is the perfect ying and yang for their wedding day! When asked what advice they would give other couples Carrie and Mark both agree it’s important to make the day your own and not to worry so much about the details like where people are going to sit or who might need what. It’s YOUR day so organize it as such and if at all possible, get hitched in Vegas!
