Sometimes the best relationships don’t start with love at first site. Haley and Shay met after their friends set them up. Haley recalls their first date was at a steakhouse she was not impressed by and being a wine drinker at a beer-only place, she was not too thrilled. After a rocky start though she knew there was something special about Shay. He called her daily which no man had ever done and within months she was completely smitten. The couple has been together four and half years since.
After a long work trip Haley expected to picked up at the airport by Shay as usual but did not expect the proposal that followed! She knew something was odd when he actually came into the airport to get her at baggage claim and before she could even introduce him to her new work colleagues, he was down on one knee popping the question.
Haley looked gorgeous in an all white dress picked out by Shay himself. After trying on three different dresses, Shay loved this particular dress on her and since Haley loved the ring he had picked out, she thought it would be special to wear the dress he picked as well. Haley also loved her hair and makeup done by Amelia C. for the ceremony.
The couple wanted an intimate wedding with just the two of them so the Red Rock Canyon ceremony was perfect. Their favorite part of the big day was the ceremony itself. “It was super intimate with just him and I there” says Haley. We always love when couples get the wedding day of their dreams!
