It is said that “love conquers all.” Same is the case with Joy and Issac when love captured their heart, mind, and soul and they decided to become one, forever. Joy and Issac met online when neither of them was imagining even settling down.

But traveling changed things around and after being friends for a while they fell in love on a trip to Thailand. The kind of love that was a wild roller coaster but they both couldn’t stay apart from each other and Issac decided to move from Miami, Florida to Charleston, Colombia to end the distances in between them and quit his job. A few months later Issac planned a master proposal in Cartagena, Colombia.

But life takes its sharp turns that come without any warning and Issac and Joy had to cancel their wedding not once but twice. All thanks to COVID-19 that kept their plans at bay.

In the first wedding attempt, they struggled to bring their families together living in three different states, by inviting, uninviting, and repeatedly going through the list but in the second attempt Issac was tested COVID positive just a few days before their wedding. Once Issac was healthy they decided to get married, this time only the two of them, and decided to celebrate it with their families later.

This elopement wedding was one of its kind, with the couple’s choice for scenic beauty and nature. It was a simple event held at Red Rock Canyon at sunset. Golden hour was something that the couple wanted along with the dramatic scenery of the site. Joy wore a beautiful boho-inspired lace and blush white cocktail dress, with a V-shaped neckline, long sleeves, and a scalloped hem. She added some spark with a pair of sparkly heels and glam queen makeup. Earthy tone was brought in with a bouquet of succulents. Whereas, Issac kept things simple with a black tux and Versace loafers. Given the couples love for chasing sunset and sunrise, they wore another outfit, this time both went with the black theme while the sunset perfectly added colors to the whole scene.

Post-wedding weekends for Issac and Joy are usually spending time with their furbaby Kobe, name inspired by Kobe Bryant as they are Basketball lovers and fighting over UNO when not capturing the world through their lens. A laid-back and fun couple indeed!
