“Whatever your motivation, Cactus Collective takes the stress out of the decision, the planning and creates a day you’ll always look back on without regret.” Jess B
The only bits of planning you need to do before your pop up wedding are:
1. Get your marriage license
For your wedding to be legal and recognized you need a marriage license authorized by the Clark County Marriage License Bureau.
Tip: There’s never been a better time to get married in Vegas. While other States are experiencing delays on processing marriage licenses, or closing to applications complete, Clark County is still open for business and providing same day licenses.
2. Secure your place
The number of services and photoshoots we can offer is limited. Avoid missing out by booking as early as possible.
Staying COVID safe
Here’s how we’re keeping our ceremonies COVID free.
We also politely request that you adhere to Nevada health directives by wearing a mask. You’ll be invited to remove it just before your service begins and are welcome to leave them off during your photoshoot. Please also BYO hand sanitizer.
What to expect on the day
1. Arrive at Cactus Joe’s Nursery
On February 14 arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes before your service time. An on-site host brings you and your guests to the ceremony site where your succulent bouquet and boutonniere are waiting for you. You’ll also meet your dedicated photographer.
2. The ceremony
You’re invited to walk the aisle together or take a traditional approach. Your modern minister leads the 10-minute service, inviting you to exchange vows and rings. Relax and enjoy it! Your photographer is capturing every beautiful moment.
3. Your mini reception
Enjoy a glass of champagne as you toast your new life together as a married couple. If you’d like, use your bottle for some fun shake-and-spray snaps, adding extra action in your mini reception photographs.
4. Wedding day photoshoot
From beautifully decorated photo sets to the most picture-perfect areas around Cactus Joe’s Nursery, we have lots of backdrops to play with. Your photoshoot starts at the macrame arbor set, before moving to our newlywed couch, then onto photos around the property. Having photographed hundreds of weddings before, your photographer will suggest poses that help you have fun and relax in front of the camera.
5. Continue the celebrations
An on-site host escorts you back to your transport so you can head back to Downtown Las Vegas or the Strip to carry on with any reception plans you’ve made.
After February 14
While you’re enjoying your mini-moon or honeymoon our professional editing team works on perfecting your Valentine’s Day wedding images. This takes around 2-3 weeks. When they’re ready your photos are uploaded to a secure gallery and a link and password emailed to you. From here you can download and distribute the photos however you like.

Pop Up Wedding
This single price means you will have booked for your wedding:
- A beautiful Nevada desert wedding venue
- Location decoration and three specially created photo sets
- A warm and welcoming modern minister
- Bouquet and boutonniere for the couple
- One hour of professional photography
- All rights to your edited images
- Champagne for toast and shake-and-spray photos.
1. Can we book our own officiant?
Peachy Keen Unions are our official celebrants for our pop up wedding offer. If you’d like an intimate Vegas elopement that can be officiated by your friend or family member, please select from our elopement collections.
2. How many guests can we have?
This pop up wedding service is ideal for couples wanting a true elopement experience without any guests.
3. Can we add more photography?
An hour of photography and photo editing is included in the offer price. This begins during the ceremony and can’t be changed, but if you’d like additional photography for just before or after the service please contact our team to see if we have extra photographers available for that date.
4. How many photos do we get?
A minimum of 75 edited images, accessible through a gallery which we send you a link and password to. All great photos are edited and included in this gallery – we don’t hold back! The only ones we get rid of are duplicates and ones where people have their eyes closed.
5. How can we get our marriage license?
Getting a marriage license is simple because the forms can be completed online. When you arrive in Vegas you and your partner must visit the Clark County Marriage License Bureau and present ID to get your marriage license. You then hand this to us on the day.
6. What happens if it rains on the day or the weather is bad?
Cactus Joe’s has a picture-perfect chapel on site and extra places to take cover, so your ceremony can go ahead as planned. Plus, rain and inclement weather can be a lot of fun to play with in photos. It always adds character.
7. What’s the weather like in February? Is it cold?
Depending on the time of day, it can get as low as 40F (4C) and reach highs of around 60F (16C). So chilly, but not freezing. Stay warm by accessorizing your wedding outfit with your favorite jacket or wrap.
Make a commitment
Only a limited number of services and photoshoots can be offered on February 14. (Well, there are only so many hours in a day and we don’t want anyone feeling rushed.)
Avoid missing out. Complete the form so our team can send you all the extra details you need to secure your Valentine’s Day pop up wedding.
