Taylor nominated for 20 on the Rise
Las Vegas, NV — McKenzi Taylor was recognized as a creative entrepreneur with a nomination for HoneyBook’s 20 on the Rise.

The purpose of 20 on the Rise is to “blaze a trail of fresh faces and new voices that deserve to be elevated,” according to HoneyBook. The program is designed to encourage “the creativity, passion and individual talent that leads to a life built on passion and purpose.”

HoneyBook’s criteria for the 20 on the Rise list includes:

  • Empower others to thrive
  • Make an impact on the local or global community
  • Have intentional, purpose-driven businesses
  • Are passionate about what they do

Honeybook says its 20 on the Rise nominees are part of “the creative, freelance and/or small business economy,” and are designers, artistic product or image makers, coaches, consultants, and marketing or event professionals. These categories encompass musicians, caterers, attorneys and financial professionals for creatives, photographers, videographers, vloggers, illustrators, painters, potters, fiber artists, public relations and marketing consultants, business coaches, stylists, copywriters, content curators and more. They use “their skills or creative passion to generate income”–either part-time or full-time.

Nominees embody HoneyBook’s Lift All Boats policy, which includes “providing support, education and guidance to their community as they build a business that they love,” and believing in “being better together and empowerment through education.” They model HoneyBook’s core values of people first, go the extra mile, love what you do, be fearless and be a family. They also “believe in inclusivity” and value “community over competition.”

“The heart behind this list is to celebrate those who deserve recognition,” according to HoneyBook. “This is not based on popularity or bots bringing in votes.” Members of the HoneyBook team review each nomination. Nominees do not need to have an affiliation with HoneyBook.

HoneyBook is a business management platform for creative entrepreneurs. Its mission is to “empower the creative economy to rise together doing what they love.” Learn more about 20 on the Rise at ontherise.honeybook.com/faq.
