Planners and Hosts
There are slight differences between a wedding planner, coordinator, and host. Ultimately they all share the same goal: making your day as perfect as possible.
Partial Planning Service
A partial planner eases the burden of arranging all sorts of wedding extra touches. They take care of the finer details on your behalf. For example, they can book transport, arrange your reception venue and book entertainment, so you don’t have to. For a little extra you can also ask for their help with event design, renting extra decorations and seating, catering, and florals.

Day of Wedding Coordinator
A day of coordinator makes sure everyone and everything is in the right place, at the right time. There’s nothing worse than a vendor making a delivery at your location but no one’s there to receive it. Or guests turning up late because there’s been an oversight with transport. Your day of wedding coordinator removes all that worry.
It’s their responsibility to contact the vendors you’ve booked, confirming timings and logistics. Once they have all this finalized they create a detailed timeline so your day runs like clockwork. We’ll put you in touch with our preferred coordinator, who’ll be in touch two weeks before your wedding.
On Site Host
An on site host joins you for the ceremony at your wedding location only. They’re responsible for helping vendors set up your ceremony area, and when guests arrive they’ll escort them to the ceremony site. After the service and photoshoot, they’ll accompany your guests back to the parking area.
Hosts call you two days before your wedding. They’ll run through the order of things and answer any questions you might have about the service.
Cake and Champagne Mini Reception
We provide the whole set up: a chocolate or white frosted cake with desert-wedding decoration, along with enough cupcakes and champagne for your guests. The really fun bit of this extra special touch? The faux fizz shake and spray bottle!
Other mini receptions packages available: champagne toast only, donuts and mimosa package and a mini-reception package with wine, cheese and cake.
Wedding Location Site Visit
Put your mind at ease with a 15-30-minute escorted visit to your ceremony location. A member of the Cactus Collective Weddings team will meet you at your venue. They’ll show you where your service will take place and explain how the processional and recessional works at your location. If possible, we’ll also take you to some of our favorite photo spots that are likely to feature in your wedding day shoot.
For your budget tracker: Your escorted site visit is just $100
You’re entitled to beautiful, high-quality images. This is why photography is the core feature in all of our elopement collections. A minimum of one-hour photo time and professional editing is always included. This covers your ceremony and on-site shoot.
Some couples understand the true value of wedding photography — these are your memories from your day — so they want more. Extra photography is the extra touch that captures your day’s entire story, from the time you spend getting ready all the way through to your intimate reception dinner.
For your budget tracker: Book your photographer for the whole day for $500 per hour. Professional photo editing is included at no extra cost.
Capture the words and sounds of your day with a professionally shot and edited wedding video. You’ll get a 2-3 minute highlight reel set to your service music and a recording of your ceremony so you always have a record of your vows and the special words shared by your officiant. This is perfect for sharing with family and friends to relive the day.

Live Acoustic Music
Let us arrange a professional violinist or acoustic guitarist to serenade your guests before your arrival and play your special song during the processional and recessional. Want something other than a guitar or violin? No problem. We can arrange that too. Our carefully chosen musicians understand what’s needed when playing at an outdoor desert venue so you get maximum musical value.
For your budget tracker: One hour of ambient music and your choice of song for entrance and exit: $500
Custom Designed Wedding Albums
A beautiful way to present and share your beautiful wedding photos is by having them collated and arranged in a gorgeous 20 page wedding album with custom cover art. Our in-house designer uses her expert eye to tell the story of your day with photos. She’ll send you a draft so you can suggest any changes you’d like before it’s sent to our preferred photo-printers.

Custom Water Color Paintings
Artworks are 10in x 12in or 12in x 10in. Whether you’re an art-loving couple or you’re searching for an unusual and original gift for family and close friends, these paintings are perfect.

The Nevada desert is a beautiful wedding venue. While some venues like Red Rock Canyon allows for very little decor, others let you add in a little more expression. The following extra touches are little suggestions we know work in harmony with a desert wedding setting. They do just enough to add extra movement and interest for your wedding photos.
Handmade Macrame Arbor
Accessorize your ceremony location with a handwoven, wooden framed macramé arbor. We’ll take care of all set up and take down. This looks great when combined with a luxe floral centerpiece secured to the frame so it ties in with your wedding colors.
For your budget tracker: Hire, delivery, and set up/take down is just $700
Rustic Wooden Love Bench
Two to three people can snuggle up on one of our rustic wooden love benches, and we have a maximum of six for hire. Thinking of booking Red Rock Canyon? These are the perfect seating option for an otherwise limited-seating option venue.
All delivery, collection and arrangement at your location are taken care of. Use them for seating your guests during your service or as a photo prop.
For your budget tracker: $400 includes delivery and set up fee.
Hire up to 50 wooden chairs to make sure your guests are sitting comfortably during your service. For larger wedding parties, we can arrange additional matching seats. All delivery, set up and collection is taken care of with a one off delivery cost.
Up to 10 of these chairs will fit at the Red Rock Canyon ceremony locations. All 50 can be used at any of our other wedding venues.
For your budget tracker: $400 for up to 12 chairs includes delivery and set up fee.
Extra chairs can be hired for $5 each.
Luxe Bouquet and Boutonniere
A bouquet and matching boutonniere using succulents are included in our Ocotillo and Saguaro elopement collections. These florals are a standard design with your wedding color accents woven in. If you’d like fully customizable florals for an unforgettable bouquet or buttonhole, then you need our Luxe Bouquet and Boutonniere service.
Succulents look wonderful for desert weddings, but of course you can choose other florals. Our florist sources beautiful seasonal blooms and creates designs that includes extra personal touches such as brooches, feathers or fabrics. Just let us know.

Choosing your wedding day extra touches
Treating yourselves to these extra touches is often decided by available budget, your wedding style and number of guests. Where you’re traveling from could also affect your decision. For example, overseas couples may choose to have videography because this is the one time they’ll visit their wedding venue, so want a little something more to remember it by.
